ProPly Custom Plywood tour slated for WMS 2017 November 2

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Attendees of  WMS 2017,  November 2-4 at the International Centre in Mississauga, will have the opportunity to participate in a tour of  ProPly Custom Plywood Inc. in nearby Brampton, Ontario. The tour is slated for the afternoon of November 2. 
 
ProPly is a highly automated manufacturer of hardwood, softwood and custom plywood veneers. The company said it produces specialty cuts of many veneer species, including birch, mahogany, beech, ash, cherry, chestnut, hickory, maple, rosewood, teak and zebrawood. 

The plant features robotics and advanced panel processing equipment.  ProPly's high level of automation and convenient location create an ideal opportunity for WMS attendees to get a close look at advanced technology in a real world setting.
 
More details on the ProPly tour and other educational opportunities will be announced in April.
 
ProPly has been certified under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Standard for Chain of Custody by the Rainforest Alliance.
